Since 2015, we have had the privilege of growing alongside Salmon Arm Ready Mix as their facilities expand to meet increasing demand, and we continue to service the site today.
Bringing the new batch plant online
In the summer of 2022 we completed the controls and power systems that brought SARM’s new concrete batch plant online. Our team handled the full scope of controls and power wiring for the new plant, along with the communications infrastructure needed to keep the new facility talking to the old one. We also installed and wired the customer-supplied instrumentation and PLC cabinet, built by Marcotte Systems.
Instrumentation for repeatable mixes
Consistency is everything in concrete production, especially when a single plant needs to produce a wide range of mix designs. To support that, we added four conveyors, four aggregate bins and four weigh scale bins, each outfitted with instrumentation to deliver accurate, repeatable measurements batch after batch.
